Taittinger's Comtes de Champagne is made only in exceptional years, it is the highest expression of the House of Taittinger. No other champagne expresses the breeding of the Côte des Blancs terroir with such vigour, complexity and fullness. With superb full blown aromas and magnificent intensity, this champagne is stunning. The 1999 vintage expresses strength and finesse more than any other vintage. This is a champagne for great occasions. Its taste is impossible to forget.

Pale yellow colour with silver highlights.

Nose:

Intensely fine and lofty on the nose, the wine opens with delicate scents of white flowers and mineral aromas accompanied by fresh almond and vanilla.

Palate:

The wine on entry is initially extremely fresh with citrus and lemon zest predominating. The finish is lively, long and complex, with brioche and toasted notes.

Temperature:

Serve between 6 and 8°C

Food and wine pairing:

As an aperitif, it is then ideal with seafood and fish type starters.
