The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Following in the footsteps of the great names of the Côte de Nuits, the Domaine Alain Burguet is quietly but not without talent. In the early 90s, the estate was one of the appellation's driving forces; since 2012, led by his sons Eric and Jean-Luc, it has gone from strength to strength.

Hand-harvesting, a heritage of old vines concentrated on just 8 hectares of Pinot Noir, ageing with little new wood: tradition is preserved to serve deep, elegant wines.
Wine A selection of 20 plots, the 2021 Red Gevrey-Chambertin Symphonie offers a perfect interpretation of Gevrey, opening with an intense nose of red fruits mixed with spices. The palate is powerful and deep, with a beautiful fruity aftertaste; a complex, long-lasting wine in the pure tradition of the appellation's greats. A wine for aging, to be paired with a fine red meat or veal chop au jus.
Vinification Hand harvested, aged 18 months in barrel.
