The distillery
The distillery Alexandre Sirech and Jean Moueix, respectively former boss of Havana Club and famous Bordeaux négociant, joined forces in 2013 to create Les Bienheureux, a range of spirits starting with a Whisky produced in the Cognac region of France. Their aim was to demonstrate the added value created by their blends and the quality of their base spirits, despite an already very diversified market. Their whiskies have been a big hit in lounge bars and with whisky enthusiasts. Discover this fine "Made in France" spirit. It's mind-blowing!
Spirits Bellevoye, is THE French whisky! All its ingredients, including the barley, are produced entirely in France. This unpeated blend of three single malts, selected for their excellent quality, was aged for 12 months in new barrels in the Bellevoye cellars near Cognac. Its astonishing aromatic complexity with notes of new leather and luxury saddlery, complemented by the exotic vanilla notes created by the oak, has won over lovers of great whiskies around the world. Well done!
Elaboration A blend of three outstanding non-peated French Single Malt whiskies (North, East and Southwest of France), primary ageing of 3 to 8 years in French oak barrels at each of the three selected French distilleries, followed by blending and 9 to 12 months' secondary ageing in new fine-grained French oak barrels toasted in house according to the unique method used by the Bellevoye cellars near Cognac.
