An important figure and ambassador for the Languedoc-Roussillon region around the world, Gérard Bertrand produces a range of wines of completely consistent quality. Perceptive and entrepreneurial in his approach, he brings out the quintessence of the Languedoc's great terroirs using his excellent feel for vinification and ageing and always guided by a quest for excellence. Each of his wines is spot-on and when it comes to producing rosés, no detail is overlooked. The result is a collection of high-calibre wines, each with a very distinct style, but all based on fresh fruit and a dynamic and thirst-quenching character. |

Light and delicate, La Villa Rosé 2018 resembles a white wine in its finesse. However, it preserves subtle notes of crushed strawberries, sweet spices, violets and hawthorn. Fairly powerful, well-toned and with good volume, this rosé also offers plenty of freshness and a radiant salinity on the finish. It will be perfect paired with fine fish dishes! |

Harvesting by hand between sunrise and 10 a.m., pressing of the grape varieties separately in whole clusters, free-run juice and juice from the 1st pressing, vinification of the Mourvèdre on its own and the Grenache, Viognier and Vermentino together, start of fermentation in vats and then in barrels.
