The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Brilliant winemakers at Le Roc des Anges, Marjorie and Stéphane Gallet produce strong and elegant organic wines. Exclusively for Valap, they have concocted a trilogy of gourmet wines, far removed from any technicality and faithful to their philosophy.
Wine The 2021 white IGP Côtes Catalanes L'effet Papillon delivers a rich, full-bodied, unifying juice made from white Grenache and Macabeu grapes. Aged exclusively in vats to preserve all its fruit and dynamism, this delicate, floral white comes alive with white fruit and a touch of pure citrus. The crisp, chiselled and highly salivating structure remains fresh and dynamic throughout. Appreciated for its finesse, brilliance, typically Catalan energy and saline finish, this is clearly a wine for the aperitif that will go down well at the table with tapas, grilled fish, anchovy pizza or Mediterranean cuisine; A Selection Committee Favorite rated 93/100. An excellent price/pleasure ratio.
Vinification Hand harvested, fermented and aged for 6 months in stainless steel tanks.

This wine is made from grapes purchased, vinified and aged by Marjorie and Stéphane Gallet.
