A blend of Grenache and Syrah, the 2021 red IGP Côtes Catalanes L'effet Papillon opens with a spicy, peppery, floral nose with a delicate peony note from the Grenache and a delicate smoky touch from the Syrah. The palate is seductive in its precision, finesse, drive and intensity: sapid, delicious, dynamic and crisp, this wine offers immediate pleasure. The whole, evolving with freshness and lightness, is to be served with a whole meal, country pâtés, piperade or lamb chops; a true thirst-quenching red from the Roussillon.
