The estate and the wine |
|
|
A vibrant benchmark in the Roussillon, Le Roc des Anges is one of our most beloved estates. Since 2001, the brilliant and meticulous duo Marjorie and Stéphane Gallet have crafted biodynamic wines of rare identity—wines that channel both power and elegance while revealing the deep mineral character of their exceptional terroirs.
These are wines of extraordinary finesse, deeply rooted in place and bathed in the luminous energy of the Roussillon landscape.
Now in high demand, the estate is entering a new chapter as the Gallets pass the torch to Thibault Ponthier. Don’t miss this chance to secure the final vintages of their parcel-based cuvées—especially since the low yields of 2024 will prevent them from being produced. |

Exceptionally delicate, the 2022 Carignan 1903 Red from the IGP Côtes Catalanes draws its remarkable concentration and depth from century-old vines rooted in schist soils. Bursting with vibrant, juicy cherry aromas in their purest form, the wine offers a striking clarity and honesty—an elegant red that speaks quietly yet powerfully of its terroir. Free of flashiness or excess, it delivers impressive texture and precision. Crafted for long aging. Rated 93/100 by the Selection Committee. |

Le Roc des Anges is one of the Roussillon's flagship estates, and one of its most popular addresses. For over twenty years, Marjorie and Stéphane Gallet have been producing biodynamic wines of great identity, full of strength and elegance, majestically restoring the mineral virtues of their terroirs. These wines of the soil express the places that forged their spirit, that of a nature illuminated by the light of Roussillon. |
