Wine The 2023 Montagny Premier Cru Les Maroques White is a masterclass in precision and charm. Focused on minerality, this refined wine delivers vibrant freshness and subtle depth, though it’s still holding back a little—a sign of great things to come with time. Aged without new oak, its discreet barrel influence lends a gentle structure without overshadowing the wine’s purity. A beautifully poised bottle with excellent aging potential.
Vinification Hand harvested. Direct pressing of whole grapes, followed by light settling. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts, fermentation and ageing in oak barrels (no new barrels), 100% malolactic fermentation. Bottled on 17 June 2024. Production: 3,177 bottles and 296 half-bottles.
