Sixty-year-old vines, an altitude of over 500 meters, careful French-style aging in large oak barrels: Diego Magana scrutinizes every detail to deliver the best of each of his terroirs. The 2019 Red Rioja Anza ensures a nice harvest maturity, with smoky accents of black fruit, spice and bay leaf notes. Hand harvested. Vines aged 60 years at an altitude of 560-620 meters. Vinification by plot in 4000 liter vats, in 500 liter open barrels and in 1000 liter stainless steel tanks. Aged in wooden vats of 4000 liters and in French barrels of 500 liters for 12 months.
