The estate and the wine |
A pocket-sized estate located in Chavanay, Domaine des Amphores forges its path with passion and conviction. Certified organic and biodynamic, the vineyard is tended like a garden by Véronique and Philippe Grenier, offering a focused and convincing range across the Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, and Collines Rhodaniennes appellations.
A sensitive address spotted by the Committee at the last Millésime BIO fair, which we warmly recommend for its quality-price ratio. |

Coming from vines aged 30 to 50 years across various parcels, the 2022 red Saint-Joseph Les 7 Lieux delivers a pure and fresh juice, beautifully dense, with a lovely smoky-bacon quality perfectly framed by the aging process. It's a superb classic of the appellation, a wine to age or to enjoy in a year with veal chops or roasted poultry. Rated 93/100 by the Committee. |
