The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine As the coolest terroir in the Languedoc, the Pic Saint-Loup is a tremendous reservoir of juicy, gourmet wines. Thanks to the talent of Frédéric Mézy (Clos des Augustins), Le Prieuré de Beauregard has become a specialist in this field, benefiting from extremely well-situated plots on clay-limestone soils, undoubtedly among the most enviable in the area.

Altitude, withdrawal into the foothills of the Cévennes and eastern exposure form the ideal conditions for fresh, invigorating, punchy, certified organic wines.
Wine A blend of Vermentino, Chardonnay, and Roussanne, the 2021 white Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert Val de Montferrand IGP is fresh and floral, with exuberant aromas and ripe fruit. Fermented in barrels and aged on delicate lees, it offers a tonic, taut, invigorating structure appreciated for its crispness—a white for simple pleasure with seafood, oysters, raw fish, or cheese. Happiness guaranteed!
Vinification Selective sorting during the harvest, destemming and crushing. Aged for 6 months on fine lees with stirring.
