The estate and the wine |
Domaine de Baronarques is a historic 17th-century estate in the Aude region of France. Baroness Philippine de Rothschild of the prestigious Château Mouton Rothschild in Pauillac acquired it in 1998. Major renovations to the vineyard and winery accompanied Limoux's accession to PDO status. Today, Baronarques wines are among the finest in the Languedoc region. |

The 2014 red Domaine de Baronarques Limoux reveals in our glasses delicate scents of black berries, blueberry, blackberry underlined by fine peppery and spicy notes. The palate is fleshy and fruity, thanks to the presence of Cabernet. Dense and full-bodied, this cuvée charms with elegant, velvety tannins and a long, persistent finish. |
