Gérard Boulay is an impeccable craftsman from the Sancerre region and a two-starred member of the prestigious French RVF Green Guide. He reigns supreme over the white soils of Chavignol, which are cousins to those of Chablis and are renowned for producing wines of great finesse and exemplary tension.
The 13 hectares of vines- of which only 2 hectares are planted with Sauvignon Blanc grapes- deliver frank and textured wines, perfect reflections of their respective terroirs. Some of the most envied bottles of the Sancerre appellation!

Perfectly ripe, the 2016 Red Oriane Sancerre delivers beautiful notes of morello cherry, elderberry, in a fresh and harmonious style. A wine of great delicacy, without any overbearing presence of oak, a perfect representation of the finesse of pinot noir. A very nice classic, faithful to its terroir, to be enjoyed now and over another 3 years paired with poultry or grilled meat. |
