World famous for its 18th-century gardens, Powerscourt is also one of the most exciting - and youngest! - in Ireland. Located on the east coast of the country, south of Dublin, it has had an eventful history, until very recently when it returned to tradition and created its whiskey range with the help of Noel Sweeney, master distiller and world-renowned expert.
Born in the midst of lush nature, forged from the finest ingredients, Fercullen whiskies play the local card, from barley to spring water. Traditional distillation and maturation in ancient casks are the foundations of its unique range, embodied today in these two precise wines. |

A selection of malt and grain whiskeys, Fercullen Irish Whiskey Aged 8 Years reflects the mild Irish climate. Its nose of citrus fruits and vanilla, roasted cereals, reminds the grain of the malt and the woody character of the oak. The palate takes up this indulgent register, between roundness and toasted notes of caramel. Left to rest for many years before being matured in Quercus Alba oak barrels (American white oak), it now reaches an ideal expression, with a persistent and enveloping finish. |
