The distillery
The distillery A land of discovery and culture, Mexico is also a privileged destination for spirits lovers. The country's varied geography allows for a diversity of skills that give birth to as many spirits; introduced with the arrival of the Spaniards in the 15th century, distillation is elevated to the rank of art here.
Spirits The latest addition to the distillery, Casa Tarasco White Rum Uruapan Pure Single Agricola, is made from one of the noblest varieties of sugar cane, grown at an altitude of over 1,250 meters on volcanic soil called "Charanda" by the locals. A tribute to the great-grandfather of the Pacheco family, this rum is made from pure sugar cane grown at an altitude of more than 4,000 meters, and is an immense pleasure. The double distillation in alembic offers a crystalline hue, a fresh and spring-like nose, with light tropical notes, and a round and soft mouthfeel that extends this register. You can enjoy it neat, on ice or in a cocktail, ideal for a Daiquiri.
Elaboration Composed of a particular variety of sugar cane 'Agricola' from the fields of the Pacheco Family located at 4180m altitude. Fermentation in open wooden vats and double distillation in a copper still forms a typical local distillate: Charanda.
