Since 2004, this exceptional grower has followed an unwavering path, working organically and championing a pure, refined vision of Burgundian Chardonnay.
His 9-hectare estate—spread primarily across Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, and Saint-Aubin—is impeccably maintained, producing wines of clarity and precision. Each cuvée is masterfully vinified, with remarkable balance between tension and barrel aging.

From a 0.41-hectare parcel planted back in 1963, the 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru Morgeot White is a wine of striking finesse and pronounced minerality. Full of energy and texture, it reveals aromas of candied lemon, a delicate saline touch, and beautifully ripe fruit flavours. The palate is generous and persistent, with a deep, well-structured frame. This is a powerful and flavour-packed wine, driven by intense saline tension and built for long aging. |
