The estate and the wine |
A remarkable estate from Saint-Julien, with an exemplary work ethos, Château Branaire-Ducru is one of the jewels of the appellation. Located on a 50-hectare plot of quaternary gravel from the former Chateau Beychevelle estate, Chateau Branaire-Ducru is one of the Médoc's little-known gems. Combining finesse and richness of body, it is one of the best deals in its appellation. |

The 2016 Red Haut-Médoc de Branaire-Ducru is a little gem of perfection! This confidential wine is in a perfect Medoc style, with a powerful, ripe nose of great class and freshness. The palate is balanced and rich, an ideal wine to pair with a roasted duck filet or a grilled piece of beef. A selection Committee Favorite rated 93/100. |
