The estate and the wine |

One of the most prominent regions is Spain’s wine industry, the Rioja is a land of great wines. Coached since its inception by Bordeaux experts, it has since then emancipated itself from its tutors and decided upon a path led by local grape varieties that are better adapted to the climate, altitude and other specificities of the region.
At Bodegas Exopto, Frenchman Tom Puyaubert is highlighting indigenous grape varieties in an unusual blend of grenache, tempranillo and graciano. The result is fantastic, especially at this price! A highly recommended wine, rated 93/100 by our Selection Committee. |

Modern and fresh, the 2020 Red Rioja Bozeto de Exopto benefits from the advantages of a short aging period which preserves all its fruitiness and purity. Flavors of black cherry and licorice mingle in a palate of great freshness, with a beautiful texture that oscillates between silk and velvet and that is very digestible. A wine of pure pleasure to be discovered at once paired with poultry for example. Rated 93/100 by our Selection Committee. |
