A blend of viura (85%), (the Catalan macabeu), grenache blanc, and malvasia, the 2021 white Rioja Horizonte from Exopto delivers an exuberant, floral bouquet that is extremely flattering. The fresh, well-balanced, and invigorating structure remains easily digestible, with no woodiness, and is stretched by delicate bitters. Ideal as an aperitif with seafood and marine dishes or spicy cuisine. Rated 91/100 by the Committee. |
