The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Faiveley is a centuries-old House and one of the greatest icons in Burgundy. Erwan Faiveley has taken the reins and brought this phenomenon to its highest level. The small parcels of land and the most beautiful hillsides of the Côte d'Or constitute an invaluable heritage that the House makes a point of exploring in all its dimensions.

Whatever the appellation, Faiveley is always a master of its art, sacrificing nothing in terms of quality or style to produce straightforward, refined wines of supreme elegance.
Wine Fruity, powerful and pure, the 2016 Red Gevrey-Chambertin Les Marchais combines substance and elegance in sumptuous harmony. Refined tension, solid foundation, all sprinkled with notes of ripe fruit: here is a Gevrey of great breadth, a fresh, consistent and already extremely charming wine. A very beautiful bottle to discover at once.
Vinification Hand harvested, daily punching of the cap, vatting for 19 days, aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, of which 20 to 30% are new, then 2 months in stainless steel vats.
