The estate and the wine |

Praised by the international press, Albert Bichot belongs to the very select circle of Burgundy’s most prestigious houses. Carefully chosen parcels, harvesting at full ripeness and aging that respects the identity of each terroir are the pillars of this institution, whose reputation extends well beyond France, making it an unmissable name today.
Alongside this exceptional heritage and savoir-faire, Albert Bichot also hides some rare treasures. One of them is Clos Frantin, a two-hectare walled parcel in the outstanding terroir of Nuits-Saint-Georges, a monopole of the House. |

The 2023 Red Bourgogne Côte-d'Or Clos Frantin Monopole is a Pinot Noir full of charm, focused on finesse and freshness. Picked at perfect ripeness, it opens with aromas of red fruit, from cherry to raspberry, lifted by a delicate touch of oak. Its juicy, crisp and mouthwatering texture captures Pinot’s natural tang with grace, offering a wine that is both vibrant and elegant. It does need a little more time in the cellar, as it’s still very young. A good Burgundy is always worth the wait — patience will be rewarded. |
