Labeled organic and vegan, the 2020 Red Yecla Organic Monastrell Merlot is a red with strong flavors of fruit, with smooth tannins and a good aging potential. As usual, the palate is very juicy, full, fresh and fruity, with an enticing presence of mourvèdre grape, which is here much more docile than its French version. The velvety and rich aspect has an undeniable charm, without any excess of alcohol. At this price level, it's unheard of! A Selection Committee favorite rated 93/100. |
