Nestled in the heart of Montepulciano, in the radiant and hilly Tuscany countryside, the Boscarelli estate is the work of the same family of enthusiasts since its creation in the 60s. Today, the third generation leads this micro-vineyard and perpetuates the artisanal and traditional work inspired by their grandfather.
Regularly praised by international critics, gathering awards left and right, the Boscarelli estate is one of those Italian winemaking gems that you should have in your cellar. From a small plateau overlooking the estate, the 2016 Red Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Il Nocio is a wonderfully delicate wine. A bottle of incredible finesse, with a rather light, luminous hue, and aromas of ripe black fruits, cherries and blackberries in particular. Fresh, intense and incisive, this great Italian wine offers the quintessence of this cold vintage. A great bottle to drink or to keep, rated 93/100 by Parker. |
