The 2017 Red Barolo Del Comune di Monforte d'Alba is a wine of great youth, with flavors of candied fruit, black currants and cherries, and a touch of smokiness. This is a classy Barolo, at once ripe, fine, fresh and of great purity, with naturally present tannins. This is a beautiful Barolo that can be enjoyed now or waited for another decade or so. Rated 93/100 by Parker. |
