The estate and the wine Critics and wine lovers always praise the wines of Château Cantemerle. Especially in recent years, when considerable efforts have enabled the estate to consolidate its place among the elite of the Médoc's Grands Crus Classés.
Wine The 2017 Red Haut-Medoc Chateau Cantemerle has a lot of freshness and finesse and a nice floral character. Its long and subtle texture is quite pleasing and is enhanced by complex cedar scents. On this impeccable and classic vintage,it is once again a great success, in the style of a great Saint Julien. Rated 94/100 Bettane+Desseauve.
Vinification Hand harvested, aged for 12 months in French oak barrels (40% new).
