The estate and the wine |
Certainly one of the oldest vineyards in Anjou, Château de Bois-Brinçon has opened a new chapter in its history with the arrival of Xavier Cailleau, who has given the estate a healthy quality boost. Organic and biodynamic agriculture, parcel selections, manual harvesting, and pampered maturation in barrels or vats now form the fundamentals of a serious and highly commendable range of wines. |

The 2020 Anjou Blanc Le Clos des Cosses is a dry wine in monopoly, exclusively owned by the Cailleau family. On this marl terroir, the Chenin delivers a remarkable score, a delicate palate perfectly aged in oak tuns, which offers a very fair woody character that will gradually become integrated. Structure, minerality, and freshness are present, offering a complete and extremely tasty white wine. |
