The estate and the wine |
It’s one of our ultimate, most favorite estates. Thanks to the vision, passion and expertise of Henri Lurton, who manages the estate with panache and talent, the Château Brane-Cantenac has become one of the most sought-after Grands Crus Classés (Classified Growth) of Margaux.
The vineyard masters each vintage with unfailing regularity. Here, the finesse and delicacy of the Margaux terroir is never hidden between a too overpowering texture. The wines are elegant and refined, an ode to this exceptional winemaking region. |

Flamboyant, delicious, carried by lively and crunchy aromas of fruit, the 2017 Red Château Brane-Cantenac displays an unparalleled elegance. In this vintage, which combines freshness and depth, the wine reveals its purest aromatic expression in a texture of great refinement dear to Margaux. Full of promise, it will not disappoint and the most impatient tasters can already pair it with a veal chop with rosemary juice. Rated 94/100 by the RVF. |
