The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Thanks to the vision, passion and expertise of Henri Lurton, who manages the estate with panache and talent, the Château Brane-Cantenac has become one of the most sought-after Grands Crus Classés (Classified Growth) of Margaux. The vineyard masters each vintage with unfailing regularity. Here, the finesse and delicacy of the Margaux terroir is never hidden between a too overpowering texture. The wines are elegant and refined, an ode to this exceptional winemaking region.

Baron de Brane retains the same style as its predecessor, using the same rigorous approach: it is a very pleasing and more immediate alternative to the Château's style. A magnificent price-pleasure equation that makes sense with this magnificent vintage!
Wine True to the finesse of the cru, the 2019 red Baron de Brane is an exciting success in this vintage. Taking on all the attributes of its elder, it develops superb suppleness and elegance with great breadth and strength. In the style of the château, this delicate, beautifully proportioned, balanced wine, with a remarkable palate, does not fail and is worth many great wines! This tireless ambassador of Margaux that sets the bar high.
Vinification Hand harvested from September 18th to October 9th. Traditional vinification in wood, stainless steel and concrete vats. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels of which 20 to 30% are new.
