The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A new sensation in the Côte Chalonnaise! The acquisition of Domaine de la Monette by Pierre-Etienne Chevallier in 2023 marks a turning point for this estate, which remains under the radar but is committed to the highest standards.

Having worked at La Vougeraie and Cellier aux Moines, this young winemaker is now dedicating all his talent and energy to nurturing the blessed terroirs of Mercurey, Givry, Rully, and Bouzeron.

Organic farming, parcel selection, manual harvesting in small crates, gentle and minimally interventionist vinification, and aging in oak barrels with a maximum of 20% new wood: everything here converges towards excellence!
Wine It has everything to please! The 2022 red Mercurey Les Bourguignons delivers perfectly ripe and fresh fruit, underscored by aromas of violet and raspberry. The juice is substantial, vibrant, and framed by a subtle oakiness that is present without being overpowering. An extremely delightful example of Pinot Noir. Rated 92/100 by the Committee.
