The tasting
Color Deep garnet red.
Nose On aeration, the nose opens up to intense Morello cherry notes mixed with a touch of vanilla and a hint of cedar wood.
Palate The initial impression is straightforward, with supple volume and delicate tannins set off by crisp fruit. Wonderfully long on the palate. This wine deserves a few years in the cellar, allowing the tannins to develop a patina over time.

Temperature Serve between 14 and 16°C.
Food Grilled meats or meats in sauce, entrecôte à la bordelaise with porcini mushrooms, leg of lamb with garlic and rosemary, game.

Today, we present the Château's second wine, l'Héritage de Chasse Spleen, superbly structured and full-bodied in this highly distinguished vintage.
Wine Without faltering in an eagerly awaited 2019 vintage highly prized by fine Haut-Médoc wine connoisseurs, the 2019 red Héritage de Chasse-Spleen Haut-Médoc displays extra charm. On aeration, the nose opens with intense Morello cherry notes mixed with a touch of vanilla and a hint of cedar wood. The Cabernet family dominates the blend, as evidenced by the delicate graphite note. The attack is straightforward, with supple volume, delicate tannins and crisp fruit, and a comfortable length on the palate. This wine deserves a few years in the cellar, allowing the tannins to develop a patina over time.
Vinification Hand harvested. Vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel and cement vats. Aged 100% in oak barrels, 5% of which are new.
