On the palate, this champagne has beautiful balance. We find the taste of fresh almond with a honeyed finish. |

The estate and the wine |
|
|
This family business, handed down over several generations, has been managed by women since 1935. Today, the estate is run by Marie-Christine's daughter, Elodie, assisted by her husband, Fabrice Pouillon, who is also a winemaker in Mareuil sur Aÿ. "From the vine to the Champagne glass", the work is traditional and exclusively carried out on the estate. This 9 hectare estate, close to the town of Reims, is located at the foot of the Montagne de Reims. |

Champagne Desbordes Amiaud 1er Cru Brut Tradition is terribly tasty. The success of this Champagne is measured by the balanced established between the very ripe grape and the integration of the bubbles. Neithre invasive nor heady, here the bubbles are perfectly bonded to a fresh, unctuous texture on the palate. This pure 'winemaker' product represents the good drinking enjoyment value for money that we like to see. |

Hand harvested, all grapes are from the estate's vineyards, traditional vinification, cellar aging. |
