The estate and the wine |
Carried by the freshness and the energy of this terroir of the Haut-Var, the Clos de l'Ours shakes up the hierarchy of the Provencal vineyard. The Brotons family jealously guards 15 hectares of old vines surrounded by wood, in biodynamic culture, forging sincere wines with a southern accent that remain smooth and mineral; conquering wines that seduce all the finest starred tables including Pierre Gagnaire or Le Pré Catelan! |

A trio of Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah, the 2019 Red Côtes de Provence Le Chemin recites all the codes of an enchanting Mediterranean wine: smoky, spicy and garrigue notes seduce at first sight, enrolled in a ripe material, with smooth tannins. A very unifying wine that deserves to be decanted for an hour or so, and that promises a good aging potential! |
