The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Star of the Cahors appellation, the Château du Cèdre is a reference for all lovers of great wines. The Verhaeghe brothers know better than anyone how to transform their splendid terroirs of limestone and red clay into wines of a rare harmony, made from perfectly ripe grapes, which perfectly release a palate of incredible richness, with precise tannins and a majestic texture.
Wine The 2020 Red Cahors Malbec is a true concentrate of Malbec grape varieties, with aromas of pulpy fruit and spices. With good vigor, both tannic and fresh, the palate offers beautiful flavors of licorice and black fruits, and silky and fresh tannins on the finish, with a smoky touch. Rated 93/100 RVF.
Vinification Hand harvested, aged for 20 months in tuns and barrels
