The estate and the wine |
Taken over by Giorgio Cavanna, Chianti star winemaker at Castello di Ama, and advised by Bertrand Léon, son of the former oenologist of Château Mouton-Rothschild, the Grand Enclos du Château de Cérons is the pinnacle of success, becoming one of the appellation’s most valued estates. Nowadays, it continues to produce top-of-the-range wines in perfect Bordeaux style, walking the fine line between power and balance with panache. |

The 2018 Red Grand Enclos du Château de Cérons Graves has aromas of ripe and abundant fruit, around notes of dark berries, leather, a hint of vanilla and a full texture and good volume, with fresh tannins. A complete and generous palate with a balanced tannic structure, perfectly balanced between smoothness and finesse. Bordeaux as we love it! |
