The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Taken over by Giorgio Cavanna, Chianti star winemaker at Castello di Ama, and advised by Bertrand Léon, son of the former oenologist of Château Mouton-Rothschild, the Grand Enclos du Château de Cérons is a pinnacle of success, becoming one of the appellation’s most valued estates. Nowadays, it continues to produce top-of-the-range wines in perfect Bordeaux style, walking the fine line between power and balance with panache.
Wine The 2018 White Grand Enclos du Château de Cérons Graves is a superb Bordeaux white wine. The combination of Semillon and Sauvignon strikes a satisfying balance of purity, finesse and energy. Notes of vine flower and white peach, and citrus mingle nicely in a rich and fresh palate. It is a real pleasure to taste, a nice concentration of fruity aromas, of great refinement. A bottle of style and elegance!
Vinification Manual harvesting, fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks, 8 months maturation in barrels and stainless steel tanks.
