Established in 2016, the Côtes et Climats Pierre Mayeul House makes Burgundies of strong identity and with a high level of quality. Frédéric Hirault, Matthieu Bouchard and Ludivine Grivault select the best grapes for this, educated by a precise knowledge of the most beautiful terroirs of Burgundy.
Strong identity, small volumes, great terroirs: the equation seems simple, yet it is carried out with a lot of grace, with all the experience and intuition of Ludivine Grivault who invests in this project with the same level of requirement that she brings to the Hospices de Beaune. |

From a parcel located in the lower part of the village, this 2019 Red Gevrey-Chambertin is one of the great successes of the vintage. Its notes of ripe and juicy fruit are underlined by a well-balanced nose with a touch of oak. Freshness and minerality are also present and support the texture of this delightful wine, with smooth tannins and a long finish. A model of Gevrey sublimated by the talent of Ludivine Grivault, rated 93/100 by our Selection Committee. |
