|
Founded in 1750, Chanson has been cultivating excellence for almost three centuries, ensuring a timeless classic style and competing with the best thanks to precise and pure wines, both in white and red.
Awarded one star in the RVF Guide, the House maintains a very high level of quality with unwavering consistency, supported by the rigor and resources of the Bollinger Group, which has been leading it for nearly 25 years.
With a heritage of excellence, careful winemaking, controlled aging, and state-of-the-art winemaking facilities, Chanson leaves nothing to chance, and the arrival of Vincent Avenel confirms the clarity of expression in the extensive range of the estate. |

Simply superb! The 2019 Red Gevrey-Chambertin exudes the whole harvest with a touch of candied orange peel, a fine and pure nose with elegant oak, delicate floral notes, ripe cherry, and black fruit. The structure is graceful, easy to drink, not very concentrated, both broad and persistent. It's a Gevrey of great finesse, well-crafted and very flavorful, ideal for a whole meal. Rated 94/100 by the Committee. |
