The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Clos Cibonne, with its undeniable and unmatched charm and a star in the RVF Guide, is a staple of Provence. This historically significant estate, certified in organic farming and nestled by the sea, benefits from a unique terroir where the Tibouren grape variety truly shines. This old, endemic variety, found nowhere else, produces highly original wines that underscore the region's vast potential, lovingly preserved and promoted globally by Brigitte and Claude Deforges.

Especially noteworthy are their rosés, which stand out from their counterparts with their body, depth, and subtlety, striking a balance between Provençal heritage and modernity. The reds also showcase a similar level of refinement and stylistic originality.
Wine Made from 90% Tibouren grapes, aged in century-old oak foudres for one year, the 2022 Côtes de Provence Cuvée Spéciale des Vignettes Rosé is a cuvée in a class of its own. This rosé, with its deep orange color, carries a high intensity of fruit, mixed with hints of roast and vanilla. Floral notes follow, along with candied citrus. These highly complex aromas evolve over the course of the tasting, set against a structured framework of great presence, which unfolds with finesse. A sublime rosé match for bouillabaisse or spicy fish.
Vinification Hand-harvested, harvested early in the morning at optimum ripeness, selectively sorted, bunches de-stemmed, pressed directly into stainless steel vats and chilled, fermented for around ten days, aged for at least 12 months in old oak tuns over 100 years old.
