The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Boosting Languedoc standards, with 2 RVF stars, Christophe Peyrus puts Clos Marie at the heart of the most prestigious names in French wine. His stylistic ambition and judicious risk-taking have enabled him to reach a very high level, bordering on the very best ...

The work accomplished in less than 30 years has been phenomenal, and the conversion of the vineyard to biodynamic viticulture has propelled the cru to its pinnacle.

The wines now offer the most refined vision of the Languedoc, vibrant with enthusiastic juiciness, punctuated by exquisitely precise ageing. With their strong ambition, they are a model of success.
Wine A blend of old Grenache and Syrah vines, the 2020 red Pic Saint-Loup Les Glorieuses is full-bodied and powerful, with notes of graphite, charcoal, garrigue and black fruit. Still restrained, young and full-bodied, it offers ripe, thick tannins of great depth. A wine to wait at least five years, which will age wonderfully.
Vinification Hand harvested. Aged 22 to 24 months in 600-liter demi-muids and foudres.

Certified organic and biodynamic.
