The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Indissociable from the Crozes-Hermitage appellation, and undoubtedly one of the greatest winemakers of the appellation who was awarded 2 stars in the French RVF Green Guide, Laurent Combier crafts wines of an inimitable style, including the famous and no less superb Clos des Grives wine. His expertise coupled with the best terroirs of the Rhone Valley allow the emergence of deep, elegant and cult-status wines.
Wine Crafted from 100% pure Marsanne grape variety from the southern sector of the appellation, on terroirs of large rounded pebbles, with young vines that are certified organic, the 2021 White Crozes-Hermitage Cuvée L delivers an impeccable reading of its grape variety. A feat, especially in this beautiful vintage where the white wines are sublime in their freshness and balance. The result is a very pure style, pleasant and concise, with fine bitters on the finish for maximum freshness.
Vinification Hand harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Aged for 8 to 10 months in stainless steel tanks. Wine in conversion to Organic Agriculture by Ecocert.
