The estate and the wine |
Château de Poncié is one of the oldest estates of the region, surrounded by magnificent granite hillsides. Its thousand-year-old history is rivaled only by this preserved ecosystem, which is now organically cultivated. The estate has been awarded a star in the RVF guide and is now one of the top addresses in the region.
Vinified without sulphites, the wines bring Gamay to its peak, offering generous and full-bodied wines with great aging capacity. |

Delivering beautiful raspberry accents, the 2018 Red Fleurie Les Granits Roses is a deep and beautifully ripe Gamay wine. There's plenty of freshness here, flowing through a satiny-textured palate, with some peppery accents, a touch of licorice and nice relief. A very pleasant wine, in a classic style, to enjoy with a pot au feu or a boeuf bourguignon. Rated 92/100 by the Committee. |
