Wine The 2019 White Hermitage Grand Classique opens with a fresh, pure and complex nose, with dominant floral notes and a strong identification to this great terroir. The palate offers the largesse of the appellation, its amplitude, with a supple woodiness and a nice lengthy finish. A very beautiful bottle to be discovered over the next fifteen years. A Selection Committee Favorite rated 96/100.
Vinification Hand harvested, soft pressing. Maturation in new barrels for 30% of the volume, the rest in barrels of 1, 2 and 3 wines, on fine lees for about 8 months with regular stirring.
