The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Awarded 3 stars by La Revue du Vin de France—France’s leading wine magazine—the Domaine Comte Abbatucci is one of Corsica’s most iconic estates. At the heart of the island’s winemaking revival, Jean-Charles Abbatucci, a passionate expert in vine varieties, has created a conservatory dedicated to preserving Corsican heritage grapes. His mission: to craft exceptional wines rooted deeply in the island’s traditions and identity.

For over twenty years, the estate has been farmed biodynamically, earning a stellar reputation across the French wine world. The wines consistently rank among the country’s finest, with the entire range standing out for its balance and authenticity. These are elegant blends built around heirloom grape varieties, often aged in large wooden vessels that gently enhance the wines with subtle notes of spice and texture without overpowering their character.
Wine The 2024 White Faustine Vieilles Vignes, classified as a Vin de France, is a pure Vermentinu aged on its lees, with no oak influence. Fresh and refined, it reveals delicate aromas of white flowers and a hint of anise, unfolding with elegance and a lovely mineral edge that brings remarkable freshness. This is a beautifully balanced and nuanced white wine—an ideal match for baked fish, shellfish, or goat’s cheese. A perennial favourite from the estate.
Vinification Hand harvested, direct pressing of whole or destemmed grapes. Alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Aged for 6 months on lees.

Certified biodynamic wine.
