Awarded 3 stars by La Revue du Vin de France—France’s leading wine magazine—the Domaine Comte Abbatucci is one of Corsica’s most iconic estates. At the heart of the island’s winemaking revival, Jean-Charles Abbatucci, a passionate expert in vine varieties, has created a conservatory dedicated to preserving Corsican heritage grapes. His mission: to craft exceptional wines rooted deeply in the island’s traditions and identity.
For over twenty years, the estate has been farmed biodynamically, earning a stellar reputation across the French wine world. The wines consistently rank among the country’s finest, with the entire range standing out for its balance and authenticity. These are elegant blends built around heirloom grape varieties, often aged in large wooden vessels that gently enhance the wines with subtle notes of spice and texture without overpowering their character. |

The 2024 White Faustine Vieilles Vignes, classified as a Vin de France, is a pure Vermentinu aged on its lees, with no oak influence. This is a beautifully balanced and nuanced white wine—an ideal match for baked fish, shellfish, or goat’s cheese. A perennial favourite from the estate. |
