The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Chartron & Trébuchet is a solid company located in the heart of Burgundy, in Puligny-Montrachet. It puts all its talent and energy into the creation of frank and subtle wines, highly representative of their terroirs. It owes its reputation for excellence to its mastery of the vinification and maturation of white wines in particular, a specialty forged in these noble lands of the Côte de Beaune.
Wine The 2020 White Meursault opens with notes of fresh hazelnut, typical of the cru and which immediately plunges you into the magic of this great terroir. The attack is of good density, supported by a smoky touch, which then gives way to a palate of great freshness, intensity and purity. This is a delicate and complex Meursault wine, with more freshness than opulence, which can be paired with rabbit or white meat. Rated 91/100 by our Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested, alcoholic fermentation in oak barrels, 50% of which are new, aged for 16 months in oak barrels.
