The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Cantina Clavesana is a leading winery in the Langhe region, in the heart of Piedmont, producing a wide range of wines with an unbeatable price-quality ratio. We are particularly fond of these addresses because they express the richness of a region, its expertise and its conviviality.
Wine A small wonder of Piedmont, aged for three years, 18 months of which are in barrels, the 2019 Red Barolo Terra offers a faithful reading of the appellation. Intensely fruity, with flavors of red berries and violets and a slight hint of toast and cocoa, it unfolds a beautiful, full and suave body carried by a Nebbiolo at its best. A bottle to be served slightly chilled and to be enjoyed within 4 years with roast poultry or a mozzarella and black truffle pizza.
Vinification Hand harvested from vines located between 250m and 400m of altitude. Vinification in stainless steel vats. Aged for 24 months in 5000 liter tuns and 225 liter barrels.
