The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A legendary name in Alsace and a shining star with a 3-star rating in the RVF Guide, Domaine Albert Boxler is a dream for wine lovers. They represent the pinnacle of Alsatian winemaking, crafting wines that resonate deeply with emotion.

Jean Boxler's wines are a masterclass in balance and pure expression. Each bottle captures the essence of this illustrious terroir, and the selection we present today simply took our breath away.

We're long-standing admirers, captivated by the ethos of this quiet and passionate house. Their modest fifteen-hectare vineyard, with nearly half being Grand Cru, sits on challenging terrains, demanding hands-on attention at every step.
Wine Boundlessly generous and exuberantly fruity, the 2019 white Alsace Pinot Gris Réserve Blanc is a born seducer. A wine of superb aromatic concentration, with a very ripe nose of spices and yellow fruit. The generous palate continues this exalted register, with beautiful maturity and always great purity. Made from old vines in Brand and Heimbourg, between granite and clay-limestone soils, this full-bodied, fleshy pinot gris, with its enveloping sweetness, is simply irresistible. It's ready to drink over 5 years, as an aperitif or at the beginning of a meal. Rated 92/100 by the Committee.
Vinification Hand-harvested, whole-grape pressed, fermented for 2 to 6 months, aged for 11 months on fine lees.
Vines treated without synthetic chemicals.
Natural residual sugars: 6g/l. (Semi-dry wine)
