Jean Boxler is constantly in pursuit of perfect balance, championing an undiluted style of purity, a testament evident in this breathtaking series of wines we're presenting today.

We've been fans from the start, wholly devoted to this discreet, humble, and passionate house; a modest estate of about twenty hectares, nearly half of which are Grand Cru vineyards, spectacularly situated on steep slopes and tended by hand.
Wine The 2020 Alsace Grand Cru Pinot Gris Sommerberg Late Harvest is a wine of remarkable density, enchanting from the first sip with notes of apricot, ripe peach, and a subtle hint of vanilla. Its marvelous freshness perfectly balances the wine's richness, presenting moderate sweetness in a persistently delightful ensemble. This exquisite dessert wine, deserving time to mature, is best aged for a decade before being paired with a mirabelle or apple tart, or simply savored with natural foie gras. Rated 95/100 by the Committee.
Vinification Hand-harvested from 32-year-old vines. Whole berry pressing, static settling. Fermentation for 2 to 6 months. Aged 11 months on lees.
