The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Daniel Bouland is one of Beaujolais’s greatest winemakers, who was awarded 2 stars in the RVF Guide, although his aura reaches far beyond this region only. Praised for his wines of perfect quality and maturity, he produces some of the most complex and dense wines in the region, elevating its global quality level just by his presence.
Wine Aged only in vats, the 2021 red Côte de Brouilly Mélanie is a fresh and dashing wine with delicious notes of strawberry and red berries. The delicate structure is not very extractive, and the delicate tannins offer a crisp Gamay with a tangy raspberry finish. A digestible, sapid, and gourmet wine, rated 93/100 by the Committee!
Vinification Hand harvested, traditional vinification, aged in stainless steel vats, no wood added.
