The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Jean-Baptiste Bouzereau has cultivated a distinct style, marked by both finesse and precision, setting a high standard for Burgundy wines.

Leading Domaine Michel Bouzereau et Fils, a 3-star estate in the RVF Guide, he expertly reveals the true identity of each terroir, employing exacting cultivation methods inspired by biodynamics.

His approach emphasizes purity and elegance, allowing the wines to express their character without excess. There's no risk of overuse of oak here—the focus is always on balance and delicacy.
Wine The 2022 red Beaune 1er cru Vignes Franches comes from a half-hectare of predominantly limestone red soil just below the Clos des Mouches, which gives the wine its graceful, highly dynamic élan. The juice is ripe, precise and finely aged, with hints of juicy cherry and a touch of fresh acidity.
Vinification Hand harvested.
Aged for one year in oak barrels, 30% of which are new, then 4 months in vats.
