The estate and the wine |
A jazz fan, and former star columnist on RTL, a famous French radio, Jean-Yves Chaperon has always had a passion for music... and wine. In 2006, he decided to make the jump and take over a small estate on the famous Terrasses du Larzac terroir, Les Chemins de Carabote. Organic viticulture, drastic efforts, and measured maturation result in red wines of great style and consistence. |

A historic wine of the estate, the 2020 Red Terrasses du Larzac Chemin Faisant highlights the Syrah grape, complemented by some Grenache and Carignan. It has a fresh and pure style, with a nose of candied fruits and fresh blackcurrant aromas. The rich and dynamic palate has a lot of character, freshness and sincerity. A wine to pair with a duck breast for example. |
